This course consists of ON-HAND experience with Digital ICs along with the Passive electronics components. One will learn the basics of using the Digital ICs with gates. Useful when you study Engineering.

Course Duration: 5 Weeks (4 days a week with 1.5 Hours a day (OR) Weekend - Saturday & Sunday with 3 Hours a day).

Prerequisite: Must have completed the First course "Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics"

Outline:

• Theory of Digital Electronics.

• Basics of using Digital electronics and various GATES, FLIPFLOPS.

• Truth table, Karnaugh map .

• Application circuits with GATES.

Student Contribution:

1. Breadboard, single stud Wire packet.

2. Digital Multi-meter (Optional)

3. Plain Long size Note book (160 pages)

4. Box to place all the components.

You will be given:

1. All required passive components like Resistors, Two types of LEDs, Variable Resistors, Capacitors, Button switch etc.

2. All Gate IC and a Flipflop IC

3. Required reading materials

Certificate: Daily progress will be monitored and successful completion is required. Oral Questioning session for 5 min.s and Practical Test.
