This course consists of ON-HAND experience with Passive electronics components. One will learn the basics of using the Passive electronic components like TRIAC. 230V AC is Used.

Course Duration: 1 Weeks - 5 days a week with 1.5 Hours a day (OR) Two Weekend - Saturday & Sunday with 2 Hours a day.

Prerequisite: Must have completed the First course "Fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics"

AND

Course on IC NE555 (OR) Digital Applications course

Outline:

• Basics of using TRIAC.

• Reading Datasheet .

• Application circuits with TRIAC.

Student Contribution:

1. Breadboard, single stud Wire packet.

2. Digital Multi-meter (Optional)

3. Plain Note book (60 pages)

4. Box to place all the components.

You will be given:

1. All required passive components like Resistors, Two types of LEDs, Variable Resistors, Capacitors, Button switch etc.

2. Required TRIAC.

3. Required reading materials

Certificate: Daily progress will be monitored and successful completion is required.
